Everyday Creativity podcast - the next iteration >>>

An Open Call for Podcast Guests (and Sponsors)

When I first started the Everyday Creativity podcast during lockdown, I had no idea where it would lead.

What began as a simple desire to connect with creative people and explore creativity in all its forms has become a growing archive of conversations with founders, artists, educators, social entrepreneurs, activists, community builders and change-makers from across Liverpool City Region and beyond.

At the heart of the podcast is a belief I have held for many years:

“You don't have to be an artist to be creative.”

Creativity shows up everywhere. In how we solve problems. In how we lead. In how we care for people. In how we build businesses, communities and movements. Creativity belongs just as much in science, technology, education, health, engineering and social enterprise as it does in galleries, theatres and studios.

As I prepare for the next series, I am opening the doors once again and inviting expressions of interest from potential guests.

Could you be a guest?

I am looking for thoughtful, values-led people who have a story to share.

You might be:

  • A founder or entrepreneur

  • A creative freelancer

  • An educator or researcher

  • A social entrepreneur

  • A community leader

  • A campaigner or activist

  • Someone building something meaningful behind the scenes

Previous Liverpool City Region guests have included Fiona Shaw, Marek J. Smagala and Joy (Ogochukwu) Chukwuma, alongside a diverse range of guests working across publishing, social justice, sustainability, design, education and community development.

The common thread isn't job title.

  • It's curiosity.

  • It's creativity.

  • It's a willingness to share the lessons learned along the way.

I care deeply about creating a platform for a broad range of voices and experiences. I am particularly interested in conversations that help people think differently about creativity, leadership, innovation, wellbeing, purpose and creating positive change in the world.

What makes a great guest?

The podcast is a collaboration.

I'm looking for people who not only bring their expertise and lived experience but are also excited to share the episode with their own networks once it goes live.

I self-fund the podcast and believe strongly in co-creating opportunities. The best episodes often spark new connections, collaborations and conversations long after recording ends.

Values alignment matters to me.

I want guests who are generous, thoughtful and genuinely interested in contributing to a wider conversation about creativity and collective change.

Seeking an Aligned Sponsor

Alongside guest applications, I am also exploring sponsorship opportunities for the next series.

This isn't about filling advertising slots.

I'm interested in building relationships with organisations, businesses and institutions whose values genuinely align with the ethos of the podcast.

An ideal sponsor might be:

  • A creative founder keen to pay it forward

  • A values-led business

  • A social enterprise

  • A wellbeing, learning or innovation provider

  • A company committed to creativity, inclusion and positive social impact

Sponsorship could include:

  • Named sponsorship of a podcast series

  • Sponsored episodes

  • Brand visibility across podcast, website and social channels

  • Guest opportunities where relevant

  • Live podcast recordings or events

  • Collaborative content and storytelling opportunities

Most importantly, it should feel like a natural partnership that benefits listeners, guests, sponsors and the wider community.

Let's Keep Creativity Visible

At a time when so many people are navigating uncertainty, change and complexity, I believe creativity matters more than ever.

  • Not creativity as a luxury.

  • Creativity as a way of thinking.

  • A way of leading.

  • A way of solving problems.

  • A way of imagining better futures.

If that resonates with you, whether as a potential guest or sponsor, I'd love to hear from you.

Here's to the next chapter of Everyday Creativity.
