Its been a moment to really pinch myself as the year anniversary comes round to the epic DOHE 1st ever GSCA Global Start Up Coaching Awards next week.

And back autumn of 2023 I was done, burnout from pitching, interviewing and getting no, after no

So much so the doubt crept in, the over sleeping and the other subtld ways discord, contrast and gloom settled in like fog what would I do to bring in the cash flow, did I need to retrain? What was I missing

But / and my belief in coaching didn't its been a constant quest to learn the craft, create my own ways of being alongside other founders, creatives, teams and communities over the years

And thats how over that crappy and scrappy period self coaching, doubling down walks, the gym and just being ok with what was unfolding helped immensely

And kept me open to possibilities - and thankfully through the awesome Start Up Higgher S*** That Matters WhatsApp group [thanks Ben Cole] I found out about the team @DOHE and as they say the rest is history

So as we prepare to celebrate the 2025 new DOHE GSCA winners - its vital to consider how they each got to this point

No coach has a linear journey, none a perfect plan or set of outcomes along their paths especially this next part in the careers - so excited now to hear the results Bett Global London 22nd January 2026
